Kids Can Help!

Kids Can Make A Difference!

Participating in community service efforts isn't limited to adults. Getting kids involved not only gives them a sense of empowerment and connectedness, but tunes them in to the world around them, and keeps them on a positive track.

There are lots of things kids can do. Some suggestions are:
  1. Donate outgrown clothing to a homeless shelter.
  2. Take food goods to local food bank.
  3. Make personal care kits for homeless shelters and emergency shelters.
  4. Donate a portion of the money received from commemorative occasions, such as birthdays, graduations, and religious celebrations, to a local children's hospital, or hospice care.
  5. Take some environmental responsibility. Conserve & Preserve. Kids need to think about ways to save our environment too. Don't Litter; pick up the trash and put it away; recycle; remember to treat the world kindly -- every piece of gum wrapper thrown on the ground collects into mountains of garbage that destroys the beauty of our environment!
