Choices Education Group

This impressive organization's mission is to empower students with vital tools that will increase their career and life opportunities.

The CHOICES Education Group was formed in 1985 as a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Seattle, Washington, and has since brought the CHOICES message to more than 5,000,000 middle and high school students in the US. CHOICES has also been presented in seven provinces in Canada, and three locations in Australia. More than 2,000 business volunteers currently deliver CHOICES to more than 230,000 students each year.

The key objectives of CHOICES are that students 1) learn that every decision has a consequence; 2) understand that choices they make about their education have both short and long-term consequences; 3) discover how much money it takes to live on one's own; and 4) realize the possible long-term impacts of dropping out of school. There are many more issues dealt with in this innovative, interactive classroom seminar.
